Logistics Specialist

Reporting to: Logistics Team Leader

Team: Logistics BoxConnect

The main purposes and challenges of this role are to develop and manage operational relationships with carriers, transport providers and other key stakeholders within the land transport process. This role will also monitor and ensure operational tasks are fulfilled with respect to equipment and transport. You will also assist with developing logistics solutions with an aim of improving and maintaining operational excellence

 To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supply chain or logistics role.  Container control or management skills would be ideal so you can hit the ground running with equipment management. Knowledge of supply chain processes and shipment planning and execution is vital for this role.

You will also need to demonstrate the following skills:

  •           Component user of Excel or similar data management systems
  •           Excellent communication
  •           Analysis & Problem Solving
  •           Engaging with Stakeholders
  •         Energy and resilience

 You must be able to work in New Zealand to apply for this job
