Sales Support Analyst

The purpose of the role  

  • Drive continuous improvement of internal SLAs and Lean process within Sales, targeted to drive efficiencies and compliance of best business practice 
  • Assistance with the preparation of sales collateral, presentations and reporting documents, including responses to tenders / Request for proposal submissions for new and existing Kotahi customers 
  • Support sales team with Bunker updates, ad-hoc rate requests, RFPs, pipeline stage gates and accurate loading of sell rates 
  • Where appropriate, manage Simple Segmented Accounts 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a medium- to high-pressure customer facing or Master Data analyst roles  
  • Experience in supply chain, shipping or logistic environment 
  • Ability to analyse data and make recommendations  
  • Good communication, time management and organisational skills 
  • Intermediate to Advanced user of Excel or similar data management systems 
  • Excellent relationship building skills 

National Shareholder Manager

The purpose of the role  

  • Leading dedicated team to drive value creation for Shareholder Customers 
  • Owner of internal and external Snr stakeholder engagement and 3+ year strategic customer plans 
  • Escalation point for operational issues where satisfactory resolution cannot be met by both parties  
  • Owner of annual RFPs and specific strategic project workstreams sponsored by Shareholder/Kotahi Governance 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Tertiary qualified in supply chain/logistics or business 
  • Ability to successfully operate across a complex multi stakeholder environment  
  • Ability to develop, manage and maintain successful relationships 
  • Ability to convert customer needs into business requirements and actions 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes and the requirements of planning

National Customer Manager, NZ

The purpose of the role  

  • Sets strategy and growth targets for sales 
  • Leads a dedicated sales team that is responsible for non-shareholder NZ customers 
  • Captures customer information (within CRM) to enable the Marketing & Insights Manager to research, analyze and produce relevant customer led insights & value propositions  
  • owns customer segmentation, sales capabilities, sales pipeline and select customers 
  • Takes ownership of new product offerings post NPD gating

  • 7-10 years + industry related sales and account management experience across multiple commodities

Marketing & Insights Manager

The purpose of the role  

  • Owns the delivery of insight and business intelligence, making recommendations and implementing improvements to better service our customers 
  • Provide sales with models to aid targeting and understanding of customer behaviour. Ensure these models are implemented and understand by the business 
  • Pulls insights from CRM and relevant market data to identify new business opportunities to fully realize customer needs 
  • Owner of Marketing calendar & material/collateral to support Kotahi's sales team defend and grow market share  
  • Working with NPD & Digital teams in the development of new customer centric products/services and their commercialization into BAU 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or other relevant business related subjects 
  • 5-7 years’ marketing and analytics experience preferably within a services or B2B organisation 
  • High level of marketing exposure and understanding of marketing strategies 
  • In depth experience in developing and leveraging customer research and insights 
  • Brilliant communication and influencing skills

  • Proven leadership abilities in building and motivating high performance teams 
  • Technically astute, you have data modelling skills. As well as the ability to extract insights and solve problems using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis

Customer Development Manager (Wholesale)

The purpose of the role  

  • Support National Customer Manager on the delivery of Volume & Value commitments to Kotahi 
  • Owner of exclusive Coastal and Wholesale customers 
  • Responsible for both formal RFPs and spot rate/FAK sales into this channel 
  • Owns customer plans, MOT, CS, DSO’s and negotiate sell of ocean freight solution 
  • Where appropriate, takes ownership of new product offerings for this channel following completion of NPD stage gates and drive successful commercialization 
  • Manage existing customer portfolio (2/3) and ‘hunter gatherer’ (1/3) of new business    
  • Works closely with Customer Operations Team as escalation point for operational issue and conflict resolution

  • Minimum 3 years background within the freight forwarding or shipping line sector or experience  
  • Previous Experience in business development and managing sales cycles 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Booking & Delivery Specialist

This role exists to ensure that all vessel bookings are confirmed in inline with business targeted timeframe and accuracy. This role is also responsible for ensuring all event milestones are completely received & accurate within an agreed timeframe.

The Booking Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the successful confirmation of every booking for every customer order

  • All booking requests confirmed from suppliers within customer-agreed timeframes, with confirmation matching original booking conditions
  • Contribute into vendor or customer performance management processes, supporting the vendor team to drive supplier performance and supporting feedback loops to drive continuous improvement of business performance (Kotahi or external suppliers)
  • Aligned to the customer operations team, manage every customer order against key event milestones and planned dates, take necessary action to keep the delivery/order on plan
  • Identify orders off the agreed transport plans, and participate in a governance process, facilitating/escalating appropriate remedial actions to a responsible Kotahi function, ensuring customer orders are back in line with the plan or efficiently re-planned. Ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Ensue completion of all event data (within the vessel file) to a company-agreed level of high accuracy and within timeliness requirements.

To be successful in this role, a tertiary qualification in management, operations or supply chain disciplines is preferred.  Experience within supply chain, logistics or customer services disciplines would be useful.   You would also need to understanding of governance programs, performance improvement processes and knowledge of supply chain processes and shipment planning and execution.
